FAT FIX — Skin & Beard Balm

I love this for pre bedtime ritual. Keeps my face feeling hydrated and my skin feels softer and looks more vibrant, my girlfriend and I love it!

I highly recommend this for anyone that works in trades and gets dried out hands. This has been a game changer for the winter work season. No greasy residue on the hands and added bonus that it works great for facial hair! Definitely will buy again!!

I was hesitant about the price, but this single jar replaced his beard oil, aftershave, and moisturizer. My husband usually hates skincare because it feels heavy, but this absorbs instantly with zero grease. The scent is subtle and masculine (not overpowering), and a tiny amount goes a long way, so the value is definitely there. His beard is softer, his skin looks great, and I love that the brand supports youth sports. Highly recommend!

I hesitated because of the price, but it replaced my beard oil + moisturizer + aftershave + hand balm, so I’m actually buying less stuff. I’ve been using it for a month and I’ve used about a third of the jar. It’s easy to travel with and I like that it feels matte/clean instead of oily. Only downside for me was the scent preference. I prefer no scent, but I’d still recommend it to anyone

So I was looking for a new beard balm/moisturizer and picked up jar of the fat fix. My beard feels great but what I also was a big fan of was first night I wore it out I got told that I smelled good plus it makes my beard feel great. Will definitely purchase again.

I was skeptical about a tallow-based balm because I assumed it would feel heavy, smell “weird,” or clog my skin. None of that happened. The texture melts down instantly, spreads evenly, and absorbs fast—so it hydrates without leaving my face or beard looking oily. The skin under my beard is the real test for me (itch, flakes, redness), and within a few days it was noticeably calmer and smoother.

The scent is warm and subtle (more clean tobacco/vanilla than “cologne”), and it doesn’t hang around forever—which I prefer. If you’re on the fence because you’ve been burned by greasy balms or overpowering fragrances, this is the one that changed my mind.

Fat Fix is the rare “do-it-all” balm that actually performs. It softens my beard, calms post-shave irritation, and keeps the skin under my beard from getting dry or flaky without leaving that greasy shine. It melts in fast, feels clean, and a little goes a long way.

Why 4 stars… The scent is well done and not overpowering, but I’d love a zero-scent option for days I’m wearing cologne or just want no fragrance at all. If you launch unscented, it’s an easy 5 stars.

Having a nice beard starts with being able to grow and following it with a quality beard care routine. Having had a beard consistently for more than a decade I’ve trade my fair(unreasonable) share of oils, balms, masks, etc. Recently my beard had gotten fairly dry and flaky. With working 50% of the time in the arctic exposed to harshest environment this country has to offer managing a quality beard takes effort combined with high quality effective product. Brock and FullFat were not only able to bring life back into what was once a dry and flaky beard but also able to maintain its quality through the most extreme. 10/10 recommend FatFix for your beard and skin care routine. Considered giving 4* in case you don’t like constant compliments but who am I kidding, everyone does and FullFat is just that…..5 *

Been using this tallow for a couple weeks now love the way it makes skin feel. Beards soft, light fragrance, not overpowering and also not super greasy.

Yes, Full Fat Beef Tallow may be marketed as men’s skincare, but as a woman who loves skincare, I had to give it a try too. And honestly, I like it! The packaging is sleek, the tallow itself has a rich, creamy consistency, and it’s infused with a subtle scent that reminds me of … handsome, masculine men 😉.

I used it as a body-care (since I just couldn’t fit another product into my packed facial routine). The tallow is easy to scoop out from the glass jar, melts effortlessly into the skin, and dries down nicely after applying which is a big draw for me. I’d definitely love a fragrance free version down the road as I love layering my own perfumes over my creams/lotions.

Now that we’re heading into the colder months, Full Fat Beef Tallow would be a great hand or foot cream, whether as a replacement or just a nourishing add-on. Would definitely recommend giving it a try - or gifting it to the men in your life!

I used this right after trimming/cleaning up my neckline because that’s where I usually get irritation. No sting, no burning, just soothing. The next morning my skin still felt hydrated instead of tight and red. It’s basically replaced my aftershave balm and beard oil in one step.
